Founded by renowned performance expert Javair Gillett, ExerCoach bridges the gap between science and application to provide you with a necessary resource to learn what it takes to create a well-rounded, elite athlete. Proven Methods

Athleticism is a combination of several skills primarily centered around Balance/Stability, Range of Motion, Agility, Strength, Explosiveness, and Speed. Failure to address these athletic skills in regular practice will often result in injury, reduction in power, and/or lack of success at more advanced levels. ExerCoach's research-based methods allow you to further develop and maximize all of these athletic skills, simultaneously and most efficiently, to maximize power and realize your true athletic potential.

Regardless of natural ability, it takes many years for the elite athlete to evolve and maximize their power output. Most exercise programs are limited by philosophy (i.e. Yoga, Power-lifting, Crossfit). Most practices focus on sport skills (i.e. throw, catch, swing). Just as in sport, becoming a better athlete takes well-rounded practice. ExerCoach's strategically designed athletic development programs allow you to execute the movements in your sport much better.

Your Expert Coaches

Javair Gillett, MS, RSCC

Javair is the Director of Athletic Performance for the Houston Rockets. Prior to joining the Rockets, Javair spent 14 years with the Detroit Tigers, 10 of those years as the Director of Strength and Conditioning. He has also worked with the Orlando Magic, Indiana University, and Penn State University. As Founder of B.A.S.E.S. Baseball, LLC Javair provides instruction and educational tools for youth athletes, coaches, parents, and peers aspiring to achieve their athletic potential - bringing awareness to help reduce preventable injuries, improve performance, and live out a long, healthy lifestyle. With over 15 years of experience working with athletes of all ages Javair is the executive producer and chief editor of our strength and conditioning programs.

Dr. James Andrews

Dr. Andrews is a world-renowned orthopaedic surgeon and one of the founding members of the Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center (ASMOC) and the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama, located at St. Vincent's Hospital. He serves as Chairman and Medical Director of ASMI. Dr. Andrews is also a founding partner and Medical Director of the Andrews Institute located in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Dr. Andrews is internationally known and recognized throughout the world for his scientific and clinical research contributions in knee, shoulder and elbow injuries, and his skill as an orthopaedic surgeon.

Dr. Gene Coleman

Dr. Coleman has worked in Major League Baseball as a strength and conditioning coach for over 30 years, working with the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers. He was one of the first strength and conditioning specialist hired in the MLB and was the first to research the physical, physiological and performance profiles of MLB players. He has published many conditioning manuals and over 50 articles about health and fitness, along with his book, 52-Week Baseball Training. Dr. Coleman has served as a consultant for several college athletic programs, as well as teams in the NFL, NHL and NBA. Dr. Coleman also served as a full professor and chair of the program in fitness and human performance at the University of Houston at Clear Lake..

Loren Seagrave

Loren is a world-renowned speed coach and co-founder of Velocity Sports Performance. Coach Seagrave developed his system while winning four NCAA Track and Field national championships at Louisiana State University, working with more than 50 Olympic and World Championship medalists, National and World record holders, and Collegiate All-Americans. Coach Seagrave's coaching experience includes other sports such as football, baseball, soccer, basketball and ice hockey. Since 1998 he has worked as a speed and conditioning coach with the Atlanta Falcons, and has consulted regularly with the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars and other NFL teams
